# Proxies are not working

**Question:** I purchased Datacenter proxies and they are not working!\
**Answer:** Updating the endpoint servers takes some time, up to 3 minutes from the moment of purchase.\
\
**Question:** More than 3 minutes have passed, and the proxies still are not working!\
**Answer:** Check the proxies using our [Proxy Tester](https://proxyshard.com/proxy-tester) or check the connection on your side via the command line (terminal).

**If the check was successful:**

If you still cannot connect through a plugin, browser, or program, check that the entered data is correct and that the software works properly. **SOCKS and HTTP proxy connection protocols are often mixed up.** We do not provide support for software or hardware that is not related to the **Proxyshard** project unless the issue is caused by a problem on our side.

**If the check failed:**

Recheck the data again. If it is definitely correct, try checking through a VPN to rule out blocking by your ISP. In any case, contact **our technical support**; we will try to quickly identify and fix the issue if it is on our side.

**If it works, but not for me:**\
If the proxies worked before but suddenly stopped, while checks through our [Proxy Tester](https://proxyshard.com/proxy-tester), VPN, or other resources confirm that the proxies are alive, **your ISP may be blocking connections**. **Try using SOCKS ports or contact our technical support.**
