# The proxy location is incorrect!

Purchased proxies may sometimes appear with the wrong country in Dolphin (Anty), AdsPower, Octo, or on sites such as IPQualityScore and Whoer.ru.

The main issue is that antidetect browsers and web services use different databases to determine IP address locations or take too long to pull updates. Some of them, especially Whoer.net, **are not neutral sources**, because they sell proxies themselves and may intentionally distort data for marketing purposes.

We rely exclusively on verified T**ier-1 (largest) geolocation databases**:

* **MaxMind** ([Link](https://www.maxmind.com/en/locate-my-ip-address))
* **DB-IP** ([Link](https://db-ip.com/api/))

These sites are independent and suitable for checking proxy location.

As soon as IP addresses are updated in these databases, we immediately release them for sale.

**Why do antidetect browsers and some services show the wrong country?**

1. **Data update delay.** Some antidetect browsers and websites update geolocation databases once every few weeks or even months.
2. **Their own algorithms.** Antidetect browsers may use outdated or alternative sources, which leads to discrepancies.
3. **Competitive bias.** Whoer.net and similar sites **are not objective**, because they are interested in promoting their own services.

**Our guarantees:**

* All proxies **match the stated location** according to **MaxMind, DB-IP, and IP2Location** data.
* Over time (from a few days to a couple of weeks), all databases and websites synchronize, and location detection errors disappear.

**❗ Refunds or replacements are not provided in such cases**, because the proxies fully meet quality standards. We always check addresses before sale and guarantee their cleanliness and correct localization in major geolocation databases.
