# Where to check for WebRTC leaks

There are several services that help check for WebRTC leaks. We recommend starting with our own tool.

## 1. ProxyShard IP Checker

<mark style="color:purple;">**Recommended:**</mark> our own tool shows the IP address, geolocation, and immediately detects a <mark style="color:purple;">WebRTC</mark> leak.

{% embed url="<https://proxyshard.com/ip-checker>" %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
If you see the line **"**<mark style="color:purple;">**WebRTC is leaked**</mark>**"** with an external IP, your real address is visible to other websites.
{% endhint %}

You can learn more about the tool on the [IP Checker](/our-products/ip-checker.md) page.
