## What the result shows

After checking, the table <mark style="color:purple;">**History**</mark> displays:

| Field             | Description                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Proxy** | The IP address through which the connection passed |
| **Response time** | Response time in milliseconds. The smaller it is, the faster the proxy |
| **Status code** | HTTP response code. `200` means everything is OK |
| **Result** | Final status: <mark style="color:green;">**Success**</mark> (working) or <mark style="color:red;">**Failed**</mark> (not working). It also shows the connection type (HTTP/SOCKS5) and support for <mark style="color:purple;">UDP</mark>, if the proxy is SOCKS5. |

## If the proxy did not pass the check

This does not always mean the proxy is faulty. Check:

* Whether the format is specified correctly (login\password\port)
* Whether the protocol is mixed up (HTTP \ SOCKS5)
* Whether 2-3 minutes have passed since purchase (for DC\ISP proxies, up to 2 minutes are required for synchronization)
* Whether there is any blocking on the part of your provider

If everything is correct but the check still fails, contact [support](https://docs.proxyshard.com/eng/contact-us).

{% hint style="info" %}
For more detailed diagnostics, you can check the proxy via the command line. More details: [How to check whether a proxy is working](https://docs.proxyshard.com/eng/questions-and-answers/faq/general-questions/how-to-check-proxy)
